Chocolate Chip Pancakes




I go through Chocolate Chip Pancake phases, when I can't get ENOUGH of them. And the ones I make for myself are soooooo good. I add a little apple sauce to the batter, which helps make them fluffy, which keeps the chips from sinking to the bottom and burning before the cake is done. And I put a lot of chips in, so you don't need butter or syrup at all. That photo at the top - how'd I get it so lacy? I. Don't. Know. The second, third, and fourth of these are from one day, the fifth and sixth from another day. The fourth one down, see how tall and fluffy that cake is?? That's the apple sauce!
